Since this has been logged some time ago, Issues in this epic needs to get re-evaluated and assigned to the other epics related to the release infrastructure adoption.

I reviewed the linked issues, closed the ones that we won’t work on in the near future, and asked questions in the issues that look promising (I'll move such issues to .NET Release Infrastructure Adoption and close this milestone)
