What is the Proposed Release Date

Will this get released as part of 2.0?

We aren't 100% sure of which release we will align this to. But we should decide on that shortly and I can update you.

@glennc Any ideas, when this will get released? I expected it to be in 2.1 But unfortunately it seems not to be in 2.1: https://github.com/aspnet/Announcements/issues/288

Is MSFT still interests in getting this released? There are still some PRs open, which are not yet reviewed for a while.
