Black screen on USB install boot.

This was done with current Catalina and patcher as of 17 June 2023.

Target machine is a 2009 mac pro with heavy upgrades to 12 core 3.3 GHz 96 G ram, 2 x 1 TB SSD

Creating the USB stick was straight forward but time consuming. (Overnight to download. Slow link to the real world)

On boot, it only showed a blank screen.

Mentions of problems with other AMD graphics cards made me suspicious. Cited ones were models with numbers 5xxx. I had the previous owner's ATI card. Swapped it in. Install went well. Subbed the Radian RX 580, back in. Booted fine.
