LegacyGPU-mojave cannot be downloaded cleanly

The ipfs.io server isn't allowing me to download the Mojave video driver (which is probably why neither Chromium and Photoshop works). I'm trying to download it retry by retry using curl, but it definitely doesn't work using the patch app.

I managed to download it via many pieces. It unzipped and I ran install.sh as root (ran with what seemed to be inconsequential errors) and then kextcache -i / (ran with many errors, the consequences of which I'm not familiar). The patch app still thinks it hasn't been installed, however.

Chrome and Brave now work, as does Photoshop. The Patch Updater app, however, doesn't know it has been installed. Any way to fix that?
