What generation of mac and version of OS are you using? Also, is the ios side version 14 or less?
2020 M1 MacBook Pro 13" on macOS Big Sur 11.6.4 iPhone SE (2016) on iOS 15.6
I was using this on iOS 13.3 checkra1n before but I updated because I was trying to tether-downgrade to iOS 14.3. However, ipwndfu and gaster both don't work, for different reasons. Gaster pwns it but it isn't recognized as pwned in futurerestore or sunst0rm, and ipwndfu doesn't work whatsoever. Gives me a NoBackendError
whenever I try to pwn it. I've futurerestored devices in the past with no issues, can't figure out why I can't pwn my device with any other app than checkra1n.
ra1npoc uses the same request as checkra1n v0.12.4, so you can't do that with this tool. (so this is not a problem) we still need to investigate that the checkm8 exploit might not run properly on a9-M1, but I think it's a pain to check it on an ios 15 device.
Ya it hasn't been a fun process, I've been stuck for 2 weeks. I don't get how it is able to checkra1n it but other tools I've used fail every time. I have an old intel-based 2017 MacBook Pro maybe I'll bust that out and give that a try.
on iOS 14.1 iPhone SE 2016 and M1 MacBook the same issue
on iOS 14.1 iPhone SE 2016 and M1 MacBook the same issue
I've been using gaster now with no issues.
