Tray icons show White on White

Is there a way to change the icon theme for the tray icons inside namarupa? Because right now Steam and KDE connect both show their white icons which would look neat in the panel, but they look washed out and hard to distinguish in the namarupa dropdown. Maybe as a short term fix we could make namarupa have a dark background?
