Android, input stream sometimes "hangs"?

Hi ! My app sends/writes every 400 ms an order to get the peripheral status. It works most of the times but sometimes I do not get/read answers from the input stream... Could it be a thread priority issue of a java.io.InputStream issue? Thanks in advance for your help... Best, Thomas
