400 Response - The subtangle has not been updated yet.

When I press the "Start Spam"-Button I will receive lots of 400 responses. The same messages appears also, when I refresh the page the getInclusionStates will return 400 IRI Debug Log: 16:31:27.590 [XNIO-1 task-24] INFO com.iota.iri.service.API - # 1008 -> Requesting command 'getTransactionsToApprove' Web Console Header response: The subtangle has not been updated yet.

What does this mean? How does the "subtangle" get updated? I cannot find anything in the docs and I followed the docs to setup nostalgia and iri.

  • Runing iri on ubuntu 16.04
  • I'm currently running iri without having any neighbors
  • Port is the default port
