Not able to visualize a DEM with negative elevation values

Blender and OS versions

Blender version 3.3.1 running on macOS Ventura 13.0

Describe the bug

Blender doesn’t run a DEM of the marine floor (negative elevation values).

How to Reproduce

Using Blender GIS, import DEM raster files (tif format) as DEM displacement texture to visualize a terrain model with negative elevation values.
