Describe the bug

I had the same bug before and thought I could fix it by reinstalling Blender. When I try to import the Google Earth satellite or other base maps, the scale at is huge (440825184), I am unable to zoom in and out or pan since the image is so much bigger than the blender layout.

All I see is blue.

If I manually edit the scale down to 20, I am able to see the map and pan around, but the image is low-res and loading new tiles doesn't seem to be working.

I resolved the issue, but it took some workarounds. Also on a Mac here. I had to install version 2.83 on Parallels running windows. Tried other methods, like installing 2.83 on the Mac, or installing 4.0 on Parallels, but nothing worked until putting 2.83 on Windows through Parallels.
