Hey @ericbmerritt, thanks for letting me know! How do you configure /nix/store location, via nix.conf?

This requires some work on C++/Haskell bindings first (will take 2-3 weeks), then I can tackle it.

@ericbmerritt is there a way for me to reproduce this myself? Cachix executable links to Nix, so I'd like to make sure your use case is supported.

Does `/Users/stefan.wullems/.config/` exist? It's really strange you don't have permissions to create that file. Is `stefan.wullems` really your user when you run `cachix use some-cache`?

Can you also do `ls -ld ~/.config/nix` and `ls -ld ~/.config/nix/netrc`

How come your user config files are owned by root? That shouldn't be the case, I'm closing this as misconfiguration.

I'm not sure how feasible this still is, given that API tokens are generated via the web interface. Then you can copy it to whereever you like.
