Jobid and Job Name missing in places

Open waa opened this issue 13 years ago • 2 comments

Would be good to have Jobid and Jobname while viewing the list of Client jobs on a client page.

Also on the Job Details page Jobid and Job Name are missing

Looks really good so far and is very FAST!

Job name is visible on client jobs listing. Why is Jobid important to you?

On Job details page, Job name is written as heading of the page. Jobid is in the url, if that's even relevant?

For the first part of that question: The Jobid is how I have referenced jobs since working with bacula. For listing files, or restoring jobs etc.

  • list files jobid=12345

or

  • restore... list of Jobids to restore separated by commas ... 12345,67890

So I think that it would be helpful to have the Jobid listed when referencing jobs in a list of a single job.

Second part of the question: Instead of "Job Name" I think I meant to say "Unique Job name" as expaned by the %j variable in the Messages resource and other locations. That is useful since it is a uniquie name for a job and includes the date and timestamp like this:

Catalog.2012-04-03_02.45.00_49

Just a few thoughts. Thanks.
