Map is broken in Assassin's Creed Origins
I'm using DXVK on Windows because with DX11, I'm getting 100 FPS in Alexandria, but with DXVK, I'm getting over 165 FPS, which is insane!
This is on Windows 10. The latest version 2.7.1 works fine, except when going into the map. It is not rendering properly with the seas being rendered purple and maps breaking when panning/zooming.
The issue happens with 2.6.2 as well, but 2.5.3 works fine. So something broke it after v2.5.3.

Hi there and thank you for the report. Can you check if the issue is still present with latest non release work? You can downloaded a build here https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/actions/runs/19800254385 If it is still present then a apitrace would be helpful to quickly look at the issue.
Works fine on RADV, probably the usual AMD Windows driver memes at this point.
I have not been able to get the game running with dxvk on Windows (crashes) to give it a poke. The latest amdvlk release on Linux doesn't show an issue for me. @vturcotte Does it work if you install an older driver?
Thanks for the quick replies!
It actually works fine with Radeon drivers v25.9.1. I tried v25.10.2 and it's broken there. Looks like they broke something 🙈
Hi. Sorry to necropost, but I reported some errors to AMD Vulkan team, if anyone can also comment, maybe (and just maybe) we can bring awareness to AMD to fix the problem: https://github.com/GPUOpen-Drivers/AMD-Gfx-Drivers/issues/81
