R.E.P.O. is not working

It works fine with version 1.10.3, but this version is a loooooot outdated. Starting from 2.0, i get the crash handler window

(this screenshot was made from Windows, but Linux have the same problem.)

My laptop is a little slow, Intel Core i5 10210U 1.60GHz + Intel(R) UHD Graphics (or Intel Comet Lake GT2) and this game works primairly at 30 FPS. At some places (very rarely) 15-42FPS. I want a little more. And from my experience, Vulkan Unity games work A LOT better than D3D11/12 or OpenGL. Sadly, in R.E.P.O. there is only Direct3D11. Can it be fixed?

This is likely an Intel driver related issue. REPO works fine for me on Linux + AMD.

So it couldn't be fixed?

i recommend using DXVK-Sarek if your gpu doesn’t support vulkan 1.3

It is more a case of if it is a driver issue it is better to report on the mesa tracker. I'll try to give the game a swing when I switch to my B580 again.

Edit: I see now you say it happens both on Windows and Linux. Can you post Wine/Proton log output?

I'll try to REPO.exe>ATTENTION: default value of option mesa_glthread overridden by environment. MESA-INTEL: warning: Performance support disabled, consider sysctl dev.i915.perf_stream_paranoid=0 crash. I'll use Windows more than Linux, so I'll be happy to get it working on both! UPD: I have some problems with my laptop, so i'll not use linux from now only if I really need to

It got support with updated graphics driver and it works fine but low fps on Sarek

Got an update to driver version 28.08.2025 but it didn't fix the issue. Just saw there's a log of DXVK there

The driver doesn't support a Vulkan extension dxvk needs

info: Found device: Intel(R) UHD Graphics (Intel Corporation 101.2137.0)
info: Skipping: Device does not support required feature 'maintenance5' (extension: VK_KHR_maintenance5)

You'll have to use 2.6.2 at latest with that driver

2.6.2

I've downgraded to that version, and it got further. The window opened, but the game still crashed. REPO_dxgi was empty, but there appeared a second file
