Error A D3D11-Compatible GPU (shader model 5.0, directx 11.0) is required to run the engine
I am playing Silent Hill 2 Remake and i want to use Vulkan instead of DX12. However, when i'm putting the files in the directory and launching the game with "-dx11", i got this error : "A D3D11-Compatible GPU (shader model 5.0, directx 11.0) is required to run the engine" Directx 11 is already installed in my computer and all other versions as well ( i checked in dxdiag) I already test other games and i still got the same error

The log looks fine. Keep in mind that Windows isn't really a supported platform for DXVK and there's often incompatibilities outside of our control.
In my case work ok with dxvk 2.4.1 but i use xubuntu 24.04 x64
I've checked this on Windows now with my RTX 4080 and am not able to reproduce. Putting d3d11 and dxgi in SILENT HILL 2\SHProto\Binaries\Win64 and launching the game with -dx11 works fine
Make sure you don't have Dozen (OpenCL, OpenGL & Vulkan Compatibility Pack) installed
