This is not a DXVK problem, there are already versions of Wine / Proton that have child window patch included, Proton GE, or Proton Experimental to name a few.

I don't know but after it was updated I started to take that errors. Although I updated wine-staging 6.16 to wine-staging 6.17 that have experimental patch, I still have taken the same errors.

Besides child window this seems to also need shared resources and it runs fine for me with proton experimental. I have not noticed any problems with memory errors even if i disable steam forcing LAA, so i'm guessing K0bin's pr above helped with that if that was the point.

@omrkrdmn are you able to confirm this works with proton experimental? You can launch it as a non steam game if you don't have it on steam. Wine staging won't have the required wine patches
