MacOS Ventura not showing camera video

Hey, I updated to Ventura yesterday and now no video will display from my camera. PTP recognizes the camera and shows a (1) in the menu bar. Camera appears as an option to select in Quicktime and Zoom. But when selected no video feed appears. The preview video button also loads nothing when selected from within the PTP menu bar item. Up until Ventura this had been working flawlessly.

I'm on a 2021 MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro chip. Again, PTP had been working fine on this machine prior to Ventura OS update.

i am on ventura with a M1 chip, It recongises i have a camera plugged in but doesn't show up in quick time, I did see it on obs but it is just a black screen, also can't preview either.

On ventura with m1, I can preview the camera with no issue. but doesn't show up in quickTime, discord or any other program

I'm on Sonoma 14.4.1 and also have this problem.
