No way to set `authoritativeCopy` attribute on `Document`

Open connerza opened this issue 3 years ago • 2 comments

The REST API supports toggle of the authoritativeCopy attribute within a Document object on Envelope creation using a CompositeTemplate. The SDK has no way of mimicking this behavior, as Document has no authoritativeCopy attribute like EnvelopeDocument does.

Hi @connerza, I've created a Jira ticket DCM-7425 for our team to look into this. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. -Zack DocuSign Developer Support

Hi @connerza,

This is Vinay from the DocuSign SDK Team. We apologize for the delayed response.

We identified that a fix for this issue was implemented in the SDK back in 2023 and is included in all subsequent releases.

To resolve the issue, please upgrade to the latest version of the docusign-esign-java SDK from https://central.sonatype.com/artifact/com.docusign/docusign-esign-java

If you continue to experience problems after upgrading, please provide additional details so we can assist further.

Please check and revert back so that we can close this Github issue.

Thanks, Vinay
