Self hosted change logo without buying SaaS

is there a way to change the logo without needing to pay SaaS? If I wanted to pay a monthly fee I'd use something like Docusign.

As a recent self-hosted installer of Docuseal, this would be a good feature. I pay a fee to Invoice Ninja yearly to "white-label" their product. Maybe that would be a good compromise for Docuseal to make some money on the on-prem hosters out there.

@da-am Exactly. I'd be happy to pay for embedding and logo swapping - but I don't need another monthly SaaS. I too pay for Invoice Ninja and it is great. I think it's 30 bucks a year IIRC.

Yeah, I think some of the paid features for self-hosting is ridiculous. Sure, require a monthly fee for using your signing certificate or your logo, but when it comes to things that are self-hosted, it’s not their resources. It shouldn’t matter how many documents are signed. Why is a per document fee required?

If you want to charge a one-time fee per add-on feature, great. FreeScout has a great solution- a basic system with paid modules to add features. You buy what you want to use. They get paid for those features. Not a recurring fee for something that happens once.

It makes no sense to charge us for putting our logos on the system; if we're hosting it on our servers, we're using our resources.

I'm looking either at an alternative solution that doesn't charge for using our own infrastructure and signing certificates or at forking and trying to get others to help maintain a version that doesn't hide these types of features behind a paywall for self-hosted installs. I have to finish reviewing the alternatives first.
