isn't HarmonyOS based on android?

You can compile kivy to apk and then install it?

I am interpreting this as a Feature Request to support a new back-end: HarmonyOS.

To date, there are no plans to provide special support for HarmonyOS. If you would like to see support, you will probably need to provide resources to make that happen. It is unlikely (possible, but unlikely) that the existing community will work to support HarmonyOS.

HarmonyOS can run some Android apps with an emulation layer, so it may be possible to run Kivy as a python-for-android app with no modification, but there is no testing and no support.

I also hope that kivy can support harmonyOS. kivy is really a perfect framework.
