Windows XP share files with host ?
How can I share files with host on Win Xp ? - nothing available in network
Yes I noticed that the Samba share does not work in XP. I think it might be because I configured the minimal protocol version to SMB 2.0 and XP can only handle version 1.0? So it might be easy to fix, but I didnt think many people will use this container with XP so I didnt bother.
@kroese - Err... I beg to differ... :) Imma thinking about using this container as a retro-gaming-thingy... As soon as I get audio to run... I'm actually thinking about getting rid of noVNC and trying to install KasmVNC tho...
Hey Husky110, I've been down this path and by far the easiest way to share files on XP with the host is to use RDP, but you do need to get RDP working first. Instructions here:

@avoiceofreason - Possible that you can go via RDP, but the whole purpose of my excercise is to NOT use VNC or RDP, but to get it running inside a KasmWorkspace. :)
Just going to mention I'm another XP user. Might be more of us that expected! :-)
This should be fixed now if you re-pull the latest image (v2.08). I enabled NetBIOS and SMB v1 support so folder sharing should now work for XP too..
Please try it out and let me know!
Thank you! Working great!
Nice, then this issue is fixed now!
