What would be the best way to ensure only my browser has the active "logged in" session, I noted that when I am logged in through the browser, if I open another browser and input the IP address with the relevant port, I can see the unlocked windows desktop as a public user. Any way to restrict this?

Yes, you can set:

environment:
  USER: "vnc"
  PASS: "vnc"

to password-protect the webviewer.
