@david4096 any idea how relevant this is?
Reading up on this, my understanding is that vulnerability would only affect server-side applications, e.g.,, node servers reading requests using this library.
Since the code using this package only runs in the browser, I think it's safe to ignore.

Discussed this with Charles. I'm not concerned with the security issues here for the reasons stated. More about the long term technical debt to which it has been suggested we move away from Akita.
