Which service(s) is this request for? Docker Extensions and the Docker Extension SDK
Tell us about the problem you're trying to solve. What are you trying to do, and why is it hard? Extensions currently open in a separate tab within Docker Desktop. We would like to allow our developers to access an extension's functionality from other tabs within Docker Desktop (ex. Containers, Images, Volumes) in the place where it makes the most sense.
Are you currently working around the issue? Extensions open in their own tab within Docker Desktop and all functionality can be access there.
