Regex for tags are not finding any tags

According to this issue, created a long time ago : https://github.com/docker/hub-feedback/issues/1831

It's impossible to make the regex match tag names and trigger build. We can make this work by hardcoding the version but not with regex.

Tried with all the examples provided in the docker hub.

Same here except it seems to be repo-dependent. I have two repos with the same regex string. On one it works on the other it doesn't
