Error while try to run containers
Description
This error is occuring a few times while I try to up my app containers for over a week or two. So I have to run "docker system prune -a" and up all over again the containers. It does not work just restarting Docker or restarting the computer. I tried to update and upgrade my systems and Docker Desktop but it was not that.
I've notice that play all containers button as the whole header that the button is in has desapeer when this error occurs. I'm using Windows and I have didnt able to finish the IDE normally and at task manager appers so many docker process at second plane that I have to spend more than a minut to kill them all.
The error:
Docker Desktop - WSL distro terminated abruptly
A WSL distro Docker Desktop relies on has exited unexpectedly; This usually happens as a result of on external entity terminating WSL (e.g. running wsl --shutdown).
Reproduce
enter Docker Desktop and try to run any container.
Expected behavior
Return an error.

I solved this issue by running
wsl --list,
and then wsl --unregister Ubuntu wsl --unregister docker-desktop wsl --unregister docker-desktop-data
and reinstall ubuntu by using wsl --install, restart your computer and start Docker, it should work.
I cannot even run wsl -l it's stuck after I run it?
+1 Windows 11. See also #13638. I am trying @Robin-Lai-YY's solution now.
I can confirm that @Robin-Lai-YY's solution worked for me.
the solution shown by @Robin-Lai-YY also worked for me as of apr 7th on Windows 10 but you have to keep legacy console off in properties
