error waiting for container: EOF

Description

Hello, I'm running playwright tests in Docker container and they fail every time after a few seconds / tests.

The error is following: ERRO[0006] error waiting for container: unexpected EOF. This error crashes daemon completely - Docker desktop cannot connect to it (can't connect to ~/.docker/run/docker.sock), only killing Docker manually helps. Docker Desktop process eats up 100% of CPU after the hang until killed.

I bisected different versions of Docker for Mac and found out that error starts with 4.30.0 (also tested 4.31.0, 4.32.0 and 4.34.0) while working ok in 4.29.0 (also 4.28.0 and 4.24.0). This is consistent as I kept multiple versions and changed them around to verify it's not a one-off problem.

Also, the error output slightly changes in the latest (4.34.0) version to time="2024-09-03T00:23:32+03:00" level=error msg="error waiting for container: unexpected EOF".
