Description
Something happened during an auto update. Now docker is in a broken state and can't be started.
“Docker.app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

It sounds like you tried to install through Homebrew. The error keep happening? Do you get the same problem installing from https://docs.docker.com/get-docker/ ?
I've got the same issue and I fixed it with a simple workaround --> Right click on the docker icon in the applications folder, then you will find an option "Open", click on it and docker will work normally as a GUI and in the terminal.
