Hello, I just got done working through an issue with a vShpere integration and the below statement is correct for requiring 'promiscuous mode' however after allot of troubleshooting I found 'Forged Transmits' must also be set to accept or we were not able to connect with the macvlan.

Your networking equipment needs to be able to handle “promiscuous mode”, where one physical interface can be assigned multiple MAC addresses.
