Port 5000 didn't initially work on my machine either. After a while, it started working. I'm not sure what the issue is. I reworded that part to ask the user to check the output to verify which port is used.

PTAL to verify the changes.

Oh, thinking of port 5000 conflict. On Mac with newer macOS versions it became a problem, because the AirPlay Receiver (in sharing settings) is listening on port 5000. So maybe we use a different host port, but not a high priority for now.
