error in docker container exec -it container name /bin/bash

Open askinteriority opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

After a certain time the command docker container exec -it container name /bin/bash or an alternative to /bin/bash stops working. The mistake is OCI runtime exec failed: exec failed: unable to start container process: open /dev/pts/1: operation not permitted: unknown

The problem is solved when I restart the containers But after a while it reappears.

Docker version 20.10.17, build 100c701

are you still seeing this issue when updating the containerd.io package to v1.6.8 (which contains runc v1.4.0 that has a fix for this issue)?
