New Containers tab is nigh unusable

Open q00u opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

  • [x] I have tried with the latest version of Docker Desktop
  • [x] I have tried disabling enabled experimental features
  • [ ] I have uploaded Diagnostics
  • Diagnostics ID: N/A

Expected behavior

Updated from 4.8 today, and the Containers tab has changed. Previously, it was readable and included the ports for the containers.

(No screenshot since I did not anticipate this change)

Actual behavior

Now in 4.9, I can barely read it. Has the font size has been reduced? The ports are not displayed anywhere.

Screenshot from 2022-06-28 12-14-26

How do I increase the font size? How do I include the port numbers? How do I move IDs and names to their own columns? There's wasted horizontal space, let me use it instead of shrinking all the text down.

Information

  • Linux distro: Ubuntu
  • Distro version: 22.04
  • Docker Desktop Version: 4.9.1

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Update to 4.9.1

Sorry for the frustration. v4.10.0 includes port numbers, separated ids/container names, and some other design improvements. Our designers are having more discussion on accessibility and font size system, I'll flag this for them.
