High cpu usage

Expected behavior

CPU usage below 1% reported by docker stats like on the other "healthy" nodes

Actual behavior

CPU usage up to 10.5% reported by docker stats and in AWS Console / EC2 Instances

Information

  • docker-diagnose doesn't output anything
  • Running on 17.12.1-ce-aws1 (image id: 3da13567a131)
  • this happens on a staging environment which is mostly idle (99%) and also in production
  • total CPU reported on AWS page for the staging env is around 10% and eats all the credits on an t2.micro

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  • Didn't find a way to reproduce, it starts random with weeks between occurrences
