Please describe your issue:
Not a single desktop environment launches with Debian on the latest ChromeOS version. I can enter the chroot just fine with enter-chroot, but running a command like sudo startgnome
results in the following error:
chronos@localhost / $ sudo startgnome
Entering /mnt/stateful_partition/crouton/chroots/bookworm...
/usr/local/bin/crash_reporter_wrapper: 119: exec: /var/run/crw/crw: Permission denied

Tried both Debian 11 and 12 (bullseye/bookworm) on a Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 360 running ChromeOS 109.0.5414.125.
If known, describe the steps to reproduce the issue:
- Grab a Chromebook running the latest version of ChromeOS
- Install any desktop environment on a Debian release
- Try to enter the desktop environment
- boom
EDIT: as a matter of fact i cant start anything on any release
