Set up gettext for internationalization

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. In order to make it possible for others to be able to play, it would be great if we could translate it into other languages.

Describe the solution you'd like All of the text that is displayed to the user should be retrieved from gettext so that we can easily add translated strings for new languages.
