This seems to be a duplicate of #8.
I suspect it might be attributed to the * activationEvent, can you confirm if any project was open when Visual Studio Code was opened?
Can you also please attach the file outlined here?
FYI this plugin seems to have been the root cause of a wild goose chase to figure out increased CPU usage with VS Code and Cursor on my machine.
I will try to send a profile of what I was seeing sometime this week.
