Keyboard Shortcut to Open New Google Doc

Any idea as to how we could create a Global Shortcut to create a new Google Doc? Idea is that when I'm sitting at my computer, and a phone call comes in that needs to have notes taken for it, I'd love to be able to quickly open a new Google Doc and start taking notes.

What kind of "Global Shortcut" are you referring to? A keyboard shortcut?

Looks like Chrome does support keyboard extensions through chrome.commands, I'll look into adding this in a later release
