Problems resuming after hibernate

After running the setup.sh script which replaces suspend with hibernate, I can't resume properly. After turning on my Surface Pro 3 running Manjaro, I can log in, but the resolution is off. After a couple of seconds of having the surface unlocked it will go back into hibernate mode and this cycle repeats until I restart the computer.

Any tips on how to fix this?

Can confirm I have the same issue unfortunately (running 5.5.4-1 on a surface pro 3 and Manjaro)

In addition to that, when the laptop sleeps/hibernates, the WIFI connection is dropped and cannot be recovered (no WIFI entries appear on scan) and the only solution is a restart, or to run nmcli radio wifi off before closing the laptop, and then running nmcli radio wifi on once I open it again (btw, this has to be done manually, every attempt and automating this e.g. via a systemd service doesn't work, despite service running)

@weverett96 Do you also have this WIFI dropping issue?
