Duplicate notifications

recently it has been creating duplicate notifications (i.e. a task named "Call Dad" creates two separate "Call Dad" notifications each time it comes due)

Hi, will like to look into this. But judging by the fact that the issue was created a while ago, I will like to ask if it is still a valid issue?
