[feature request] consider tasks without start date as "Already started"

Open chrpinedo opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

The tab of "started tasks" is good view to see which tasks you can begin to work with. However, the tasks without an start date are not displayed.

I would suggest to include in the "Already started" section not only the tasks with a past start date but also the tasks without a start date (because these tasks can be started just now).

Another approach could be to include also at begging a new section:

  • "Any time" (tasks without a start date)
  • Already started tasks
  • Today
  • Tomorrow
  • Someday
  • Later

I think this relates to #910.

It might be related to it, but not necessarily.

In the "started tasks" tab opentasks consider only the tasks with one start date. This tab is great to know in which tasks you can work or you must wait for them (tasks waiting for start date). Tasks without a start date in theory you can begin with them just now, so IMO they should appear at the begining of the "started tasks" tab with "already started tasks" section or in other section.
