Tasks are not displayed as started

Open Valdnet opened this issue 5 years ago • 4 comments

Steps:

  1. Create a task.
  2. Mark as started.
  3. Go to "Tasks starting".

The task does not appear in "Tasks starting" as "Already Started".

App: Android 6 OpenTasks 1.2.3

What exactly do you mean by "mark as started"? OpenTasks considers a task "started" when the start date has passed and the task is not due yet.

  • If you check the status "in process" in the task.

That's an interesting point. I've never considered the status when I created that tab. I always had only the start date in mind, like in "this task is eligible for working on it" as opposed to "the time for this task has not come yet". So it probably should have been called "ready for work". This, of course should also include tasks without start then (as mentioned in #913).

I also noticed that tasks started after the set time appear in "Already Started" only on the next day. In my opinion, after the set date and start time they should go from "Today" to "Already Started".
