Make the buddy list behave like the tabs

Now that this awesome extentsion merges pidgin into a single window, I find myself wanting to use the buddy list to change between chats and IMs.

Not sure how difficult it would be to implement, but i would be awesome if you clicked on an open chat or IM in the buddy list, it would just present that in the main conversation pane. Additionally, for this to work, the buddy list would also have to show what chats are "open" and if there are unread messages (pidgin default changes the tab text colour to red) or unread direct messages (pidgin changes the tab text colour to blue).
