Snip v8 is very inconsistent when detecting song changes compared to v7

Snip v8 takes between a few seconds to 1 minute+ to detect song changes sometimes, compared to v7 which usually detects them within 1-2 seconds every time

I've experienced that as well, sometimes v8 doesn't update for quite some time.

Went back to using latest v7 as that works perfectly once again.
