New version "issue"

First of all, thanks a million for 7.0.5 that makes it possible once again to hide Spotify in the tray :) I don't really restart Spotify or Snip if I don't need to and now I can listen to Spotify via smartphone and as soon as I get back home I can switch it to "the Snip-computer" via Spotify Connect directly from my phone and Snip instantly goes to work! ❤️

But if I wasn't a frequent visitor to Github I wouldn't have noticed it until........much later probably. The app never showed me "New version available!" until I rebooted it to check. Shouldn't it be possible to grab that info while still running (1 simple check every 5 hours or so)?

Would it also be possible to make it even more apparent of a new version? - Maybe grab the info and put it on the Windows Notices (see image, I don't really know the name in English) or something? Or some sort of alert other than to need to right click on the application in the system tray and check.

Thanks for all your work and efforts - You're the man!

I’ll have to look into the windows notification stuff. I’ve yet to do so and have no idea how it works.

Implementing a random check for a new version is pretty easy.

Also, thanks for the kind words and support.

As you can see you posted this in September and I’m just getting to it. Time has been tight for me. The project isn’t dead though!
