In MainActivity's createMediaPlayerForGfyItem(), what is the benefit of having a bunch of Observable.create(OnSubscribe).subscribe(/_do stuff_/)? I am wondering how this is better approach than simply executing /_do stuff_/ without RxJava. Thanks!
It should be theoretically possible to handle _all_ web URL links; then upon further inspection decide whether it's actually a GIF or not, and if not route it to another...
Is there any chance that support for Chromecast could be added? Would be pretty awesome to stream some higher quality gifs to a TV.
