"What this is" is a full-featured client for GlobalProtect VPNs. It's since been merged upstream, and now lives at https://gitlab.com/openconnect/openconnect and https://www.infradead.org/openconnect … which is why only the documentation is left behind here :smile:
What did you need to figure out about your school's GP VPN that OpenConnect doesn't already do?
Well, “bypass” the fulters persay. This is a super neat project, and the documentation left in the dust was much better than the cruddy one I’m working on.

I just want to add my voice of thanks, great documentation and helpful discussion to figure out my issue. (For me, it turned out that I needed to find the URL for the specific "gateway" to my University's VPN, otherwise openconnect wouldn't work)

In recent versions of OpenConnect, we've tried pretty damn hard to make OpenConnect support either the gateway or the portal interfaces of GlobalProtect VPNs as entry points.
Take a look at https://gitlab.com/openconnect/openconnect/-/issues/?label_name%5B%5D=protocol%3A%3AGlobalProtect, and feel free to support a new report if you think we can improve something there.
