As described in the docs, we should throttle our consumption if message processing fails. This is easy to determine when using callbacks, but consuming messages through an iterator puts more...

This is what `qless` does, incidentally, and it could definitely be doable. One the one hand, it seems like allowing messages to time out and automatically be requeued is viable.

I'm trying to run the tests locally, but the makefile isn't working for me (yet). In the meantime, I'm pushing this MR hoping that either 1) automated tests kick off...

Ah, was able to get the tests working well enough locally to demonstrate that the tests fail without the fix commit, and pass with it.

My thinking was since Geordi's and Data's lines have a high percentage of technobabble, it would be human-manageable to pick out a good sample of words, and then split them...
