Fresh install in fresh install of VisualStudio doesn't work...

Seems this old pickle again...

VS install shows version 17.11... latest VisualD beta has DLL's that go up to 17.9, is this the issue? The error message refers to 17.9 dll, and that dll is present in the location that the error says... so I'm not sure what we're looking at? The file is there, but the error seems to say it can't find that file...

MS seem to have really screwed the pooch with new releases every couple of months...

The excruciating thing about VS these days, is that you can't install an old version! I just want an old version that just bloody works! What we seem to have with VS today, is some kind if whack-a-mole of issues every time they do an update :/

I updated these for VS 17.10 and 17.11 just a couple of days ago, I'll create a new rc later...

I was worried this may be the case. I've been out of the loop for quite a while now too. Your absence is already felt deeply!
