I'd be interested in using this on a Nvidia Shield TV. Possible?

I think what you want to do, and I have tried it successfully, is open a browser window on your Android TV Box, and run the software from your android phone. Once the phone gives you the http address, enter it in the browser on your TV box and it works great!
