I cannot reproduce the issue connecting to a path i a bucket in region `us-west-2`. Please include the [log file](https://docs.cyberduck.io/cyberduck/support/#logging-output). You can reach the logging output in Preferences → Connection.
May depend on #15967.
Please attach a sample file where this is reproducible.
The screenshot does not indicate you have selected the _Modified_ column. It should show an arrow indicating the sort order.
Workaround is to make the field loose focus to persist the changes.
